Filtration
Filtration is the process in which minerals and contaminants are
removed from the water. Minerals in the water will sometimes make the
water smell or taste unpleasant. Contaminates such as; Lead, Heavy
metals, Nitrate/Nitrite, Pesticides, etc., can cause serious health
issues. These minerals and/or contaminates can be removed by
Filtration. Reverse Osmosis and/or media bed filters are two excellent
ways to purify your water. An example of both a small 'under the
counter' drinking water system and a whole house media filter are
listed below.
Specialized Filtration:
Carbon or specialized media beds are used to remove unwanted smells,
tastes, and/or stains such as chlorine and iron. Problems such as bad
tastes, foul smells, and stains can be solved by Specialized
Filtration. A selective media is used to trap the unwanted minerals or
compounds which are then periodically washed down the drain. Examples
of the water problems are:
- Iron Staining
- Rotten Sulfur Smell
- Chlorine
- Bad Tastes

The standard size RO system is designed to fit nicely under your
kitchen sink, but can also be installed in the crawl space or
mechanical room. A larger holding tank is available for high usage or
multiple RO outlets. System includes:

- Long reach faucet
- 3.2 gallon holding tank
- Quality monitor - Optional
